II. Main Functions
1. Thermal insulation and energy saving
The closed-cell structure of rubber foam has an extremely low thermal. After wrapping pipes/equipment, it blocks heat exchange, reduces heat loss in air conditioning, hot water, and steam pipelines, and lowers energy consumption.
2. Anti-condensation and prevention (Core advantage)
Rubber foam itself is non-absorbent, and combined with the surface aluminum foil, it completely isolates water vapor in the air;
After wrapping low- chilled water and refrigerant pipes, the outer wall will not condense or drip water, preventing ceilings and walls from getting damp and moldy, and avoiding damage to electrical lines from water soaking.
3 Vapor barrier, moisture-proof, and anti-aging
The aluminum foil layer forms a sealed water barrier, isolating moisture, rainwater, and underground dampness; meanwhile, it blocks UV rays air oxidation, delaying the aging and cracking of the rubber foam, and extending the service life of the insulation layer.
4. Sound absorption, noise reduction, and vibration damping
flexible foamed material of rubber foam can absorb vibration noise from water and air flows, weaken pipe resonance and abnormal noises, and reduce indoor noise.
5. Fireproof and flame retardantThe national standard rubber foam insulation is B1 grade flame retardant, self-extinguishing when removed from the flame, and produces no large amounts of dripping material during combustion, meeting the basic of HVAC and fire protection.
6. Self-adhesive and convenient construction
With built-in adhesive, no extra glue is needed. Simply peel off the release paper and stick directly to pipes, equipment, and walls. It is easy to cut, allows for rapid single-person construction, and reduces auxiliary materials and labor costs.
7. Protection and-rust
The aluminum foil isolates air and water vapor, protecting the outer walls of steel and copper pipes from rusting and corrosion.
