PUVIP panels are composite boards widely used in construction, refrigeration, industry, and other fields, typically characterized by the followitructure and features:
Basic Structure:
PUVIP usually refers to Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIP) composed of a polyurethane (PU) or polyisocyae (PIR) foam core and metal or other material facings. More commonly, it refers to polyurethane sandwich panels with excellent thermal insulation performance. In most industrial and construction contexts, it primly refers to the latter, i.e., polyurethane sandwich panels.
Core Features:
Excellent thermal insulation performance: The core rigid PU/PIR foam is one of the best thermal insulatng materials currently available, with an extremely low thermal conductivity coefficient. This means its heat preservation and cold retention effects far exceed those of traditional materials, resulting in significant energy savings.
High lightweight: The board structure is a "sandwich" core structure, lightweight yet with high mechanical strength, possessing good bending and compressive resistance.
Superior fire resistance: Escially the PIR core material, whose high-temperature resistance and flame retardancy are usually superior to ordinary PU, achieving higher fire resistance grades (such as Class B1, Class mposite, etc.).
Good sealing and moisture resistance: The high closed-cell rate of PU/PIR foam results in extremely low water absorption, effectively preventing moisture penetration and avoiding a decline i performance due to dampness.
Easy installation: The boards are usually factory prefabricated with standard dimensions and can be quickly installed via tongue-and-groove joints and other methonsuring high construction efficiency.
Durability and weather resistance: High-quality facings (such as color-coated steel, stainless steel, rust-proof aluminum, etc.) provide good corrosion and weathe resistance, ensuring a long service life.
Main Application Fields:
Cold chain logistics: One of the core application fields. Used for wall panels, roof panels, and door bodies of cold storag warehouses, refrigerated vehicles, and cold chain distribution centers, serving as a key material to ensure low-temperature environments.
Industrial and commercial buildings: Used for thermal insulation enclosure structures gs requiring specific temperature and cleanliness standards, such as factories, warehouses, supermarkets, and logistics centers.
Cleanroom engineering: Used for wall panels and ceilings in cleanrooms of hospitals, pharmaceuticl factories, electronic factories, and laboratories, due to their smooth surfaces, dust resistance, and good airtightness.
