Rubber and plastic aluminum foil insulation material is a composite material consisting of a layer of aluminum foil laminated onto the surface o and plastic insulation material (typically NBR/PVC closed-cell foam). It combines the advantages of both materials, with the following key features:
Core Features:
Excellent thermal insulation: The b material is rubber and plastic with a closed-cell foam structure, featuring a low thermal conductivity coefficient that effectively blocks heat conduction, providing superior insulation and cold preservation effects.
Excellent moisture and vpor barrier: The rubber and plastic base material itself has a low water absorption rate, and the closed-cell structure blocks water vapor. The outer aluminum foil layer forms an excellent moisture and vpor barrier, almost completely blocking the penetration of water vapor from the air into the insulation material. This is one of its most critical features, preventing permanent degradation of insulation performance caused by condand moisture.
High reflectivity and radiation protection: The smooth aluminum foil surface has a high thermal reflectivity (especially in summer or high-temperature environments), reflecting most radiant heat outwer enhancing the insulation effect, and is particularly suitable for reducing solar radiation heat gain.
Clean and durable appearance: The aluminum foil layer gives the material a smooth and aesthetically pleasing face that is resistant to dust accumulation, easy to clean, and enhances the material's resistance to wear and puncture.
Easy installation: The material is soft, easy to cbend, making it convenient to wrap around pipes and equipment with complex shapes. The aluminum foil layer usually comes with a pressure-sensitive adhesive; during installation, simply peel off the release paper tick and fix it, ensuring good sealing and high construction efficiency.
Main Application Fields:
Due to its dual advantages of moisture and vapor barrier and insulation, it is particularly suitable for the following sc with strict requirements for condensation prevention:
Air conditioning and ventilation systems: Used for insulating air ducts, chilled water pipes, and condensate pipes in central air conditioning systemprevent condensation on pipe walls and energy loss.
Low-temperature refrigeration systems: Used for cold preservation of refrigeration pipes, chillers, and refrigeration equipment to ensure cold rnd eliminate condensation on outer walls.
Industrial fields: Process pipes, storage tanks, and equipment where surface temperature control is required.
Construction fields: Sometimes used as an insulation and moisarrier layer for roofs and walls.
